Earthquake in Santiago de Chile terrifies inhabitants

With regard to its location, it is not very lucky, the country is located in the area where two tectonic plates meet, the Nazca and the South American. When they collide, they have damage as well as earthquakes, volcanic waves and the appearance of mountain ranges. The biggest earthquake in the country occurred in the city of Valvidia, marking 9.5 degrees on the Richter scale on May 22, 1960, when a disaster of this magnitude occurred, leaving several dead, in addition to many injured and damage to the city. An average of 1665 people lost their lives, 3,000 were injured and 2 million people lost their homes, in addition to the earthquake, a tsunami was caused that caused waves to reach 25 meters. As it is located in the Southeast region of the Pacific Ring of Fire, where the largest number of earthquakes in the world occur, the country constantly suffers from such phenomena. In nearby regions there were also tremors of 2.6 and 3.2. In degrees between 4 and 5, there are falling objects and minor damage, however, in degrees of 5.5 as in the case of this episode, there is greater damage. According to information, so far there are no injuries or damage to the population.
