Merow signs with Next Era
Megan Nelemaat, known by her stage name Merow, has entered into an exclusive publishing agreement with Next Era Publishing.
The artist is the only female student in her class at the Herman Brood Academy and with her quirky but accessible sound she managed to impress a lot during a Clubhouse session via a Demo Drop of Mixmash Records. This immediately sparked interest from the scene that eventually led to a deal with Next Era Publishing.
The only 19-year-old Merow is mainly active within the EDM. For example, she makes drum and bass records, but also records that are more in the progressive corner. “She knows how to combine the right melodies with energetic drums and innovative sounds, creating an interesting mix that comes into their own both in life sets and on streaming platforms.”
Merow signs with Next Era
Pieter Tanis, Creative Manager at Next Era Publishing: “Merow, with its hungry but focused and controlled attitude, is on its way to a unique position in the market and we are extremely excited and motivated to become part of her team at this stage and to look for the right collaborations to further stimulate its development.”
