NBA announces teams for the 2022/2023 season with Embiid and Giannis

The NBA revealed yesterday afternoon (10) the three teams for the 2022/2023 regular season. In addition to the well-known stars and teams that made or are part of the playoffs this year, figures like Luca Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who did not qualify for the postseason, were also selected due to great individual performance.

Check out the rosters for each of the teams for the 2022/2023 NBA season below.:

first team: Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid.

second team: Stephen Curry, Jaylen Brown, Jimmy Butler, Donovan Mitchell and Nikola Jokić.

third team: Damian Lillard, De’Aaron Fox, LeBron James, Julius Randle and Domantas Sabonis.

How are the teams of the season selected?

The five players for each of the three “All-NBA” teams are chosen by a panel of journalists and broadcasters. Voters award points based on a 5-3-1 scale based on their positions, with their first choice receiving five points; the second, three points; the third, a point.

In the current system, voters select two shipowners (“guards”), two wings (“forwards”) and a pivot (“center”), “choosing players in the position in which they regularly play”. If an athlete receives votes in more than one position – some are listed as forward/guard (“guard/forward”) or forward (“forward/center”) – they are fixed in the position where they received the most voting points.

The “NBA selection” is the last poll that contemplates the current regular season. Over the last few weeks, honors that award the best of the year in the league have been handed out. Below, check out the winner of each of them:

Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) – Jaren Jackson Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies)

Freshman of the Year (ROY) – Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic)

Sixth Man of the Year (6MOY) – Malcolm Brogdon (Boston Celtics)

Most Improved Player (MIP) – Lauri Markkanen (Utah Jazz)

Most Decisive Player (“clutch”) of the Year (CPOY) – De’Aaron Fox (Sacramento Kings)

Coach of the Year (COY) – Mike Brown (Sacramento Kings)

Executive of the Year (EOY) – Mount McNair (Sacramento Kings)
