Influencer Brendo Yan dies after an allergic reaction and leaves a farewell letter

Brendo Yan, digital influencer, passed away last Wednesday (26) due to an allergic reaction, after eating a shrimp dumpling. It all happened last Saturday (22). He was rescued and hospitalized, but on Wednesday (26) he could not resist and his brain death was confirmed. Brendo was buried last Thursday (27).

His wife Victoria Figueiredo says that she and her husband were presented with cassava dumplings by a neighbor and that he did not warn that the stuffing was shrimp and also, he did not know that the influencer was allergic.

She continues, and says she was on a call and when she finished, her husband was already eating the cupcakes. “I asked, ‘What’s inside?’ And he said it was chicken. I said it smelled like fish, but it really didn’t taste or smell like shrimp, it was very shredded”reported the girl.

Still according to Victoria, Brendo started to feel very sick. She immediately asked the neighbors for help and they took him to an emergency room. Already at the scene, he had a cardiac arrest and needed to be revived.

After that, he was intubated in an ICU. On Sunday (23), he was transferred to Memorial Hospital. However, CT scans confirmed the boy’s brain death.

In addition to being an influencer, Brendo Yan worked as an administrative assistant and lived in the northern part of Natal, in the Rendinha neighborhood with his wife, who had been married for a year. He is also the creator of the Bloco do Anjinho, which took to the streets for the first time during Carnival in February this year.

Victoria also claims that her husband left a letter that was delivered to her as soon as they were married. In the letter, the influencer, in addition to thanking him, left a request for how he would like her funeral to be, if “their time comes”.

His wish was that everyone was in white – that’s because he was a candomblecist – and also, that there was a celebration. Still in the letter, Brendo Yan leaves a message, asking his wife and everyone to “enjoy life intensely”.

Your requests have been granted. During the procession and burial, they had a frevo band and a banner from the Bloco do Anjinho, where everyone was in white.

This block, because it was created by Brendo, the wife confirms that she will keep it in the coming years in honor of her husband.

“The legacy he left is what remains. That we live intensely, that we enjoy life intensely, that life is one and we don’t know tomorrow. And I didn’t really know tomorrow . If I had known, I would have enjoyed it more”concluded the wife.
