The Amazing Ricotta Raisin Bread

RICOTA BREAD

In a large bowl, add the wheat flour, sugar, salt, yeast and mix well. Then, making room in the center of the bowl, add the margarine, eggs and mix. Then add the milk little by little and mix. Soon after, place the dough on a floured table and knead until it forms a smooth and uniform dough. Finally, place in a bowl, cover with a clean cloth and let rest for 60 minutes or until doubled in volume. Oil lubricated components. Then let it rest for about 30 minutes and brush with the egg yolks beaten with a spoonful of milk. Finally, take it to the preheated oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 1 Gem to brush

  • 10g dry yeast

  4. Then, place the dough on a floured table and knead well,

  6. Finally, place in a bowl and cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 60 minutes or until it doubles in volume.

FILLING

ASSEMBLY

  1. On a floured table divide the dough into balls.
  2. Then, open and fill with the seasoned ricotta, close the balls and place them in a greased shape with oil.
  3. Then let it rest for approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Brush with an egg yolk beaten with a spoonful of milk.
  5. Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until browned.
